Bright
HMU-2100*
Bright HMU-2100 (2000 watts continuous) is a silent running system that automatically
transfers to emergency backup power when the grid power is disrupted.
This system
is movable and can be used in any room in the home. The Bright HMU-2100 is designed
to look like a home furnishing.
A small L.E.D light will come on when grid power
goes down. This feature is to help the owner locate the unit in the dark. The
unit has a small shelf to store additional flashlights and other small emergency
necessities.
This unit is custom-finished.
Our standard version is oak, finished in Natural, Fruitwood, English Oak,
or Walnut. Call
us if you prefer other finishes or wood.
The unit requires no additional wiring and is ready to install with
a simple 110 outlet. It is renewable energy ready with an adaptor for use with
a solar panel. The batteries (175 amp hrs) are high quality maintenance free.

IDEA works with local Appalachian furniture craftsmen who are
available to customize a cabinet to individual customer needs, price
will very depending on wood type and cabinet style chosen. Customers
are encouraged to work directly with the craftsman. Contact IDEA
for more information.

up power life will be determined by number of appliance used
and the length of time powering each appliance. The backup
power life can be extended by adding the optional solar panel
to the unit. IDEA recommends a yearly battery checkup; much
like you would have your furnace or fire place serviced before
the winter. |
